The School Held the First Plenary Session of the 2023-2024 Spring Semeste

The first plenary session of the 2023-2024 spring semester was held in Hall 113, March 1. It was chaired by Huo Yan, the secretary of schools Party Committee, and nearly 80 faculties attended the meeting.

Huo Yan conveyed the relevant spirits of Ningbo University's 2024 Winter Enlarged Session. She shared theme report on "to be struggling, practical, and excellent" of NBU Party Secretary Zhu Da and emphasized his three opinions on the overall work of the university. She also conveyed President Cai Ronggen's nine main work arrangements for 2024 and Vice President Lv Chaofeng's emphasis on the time node and disciplinary requirements of undergraduate education and teaching review and evaluation. In terms of the deployment of key work in the school, Huo Yan pointed out that welcoming undergraduate education and teaching evaluation is also one of the most important tasks of the school this semester, which requires the participation of all staff, active preparation, and serious reception of evaluations. At the same time, she emphasized other key work that the school needs to promote in combination with inspections and rectification. She required that the "three teams" of the school should closely focus on the key and difficult points of work, focus on cohesion, and truly work hard. In addition, Huo Yan also deployed the construction of professional ethics and conduct, as well as safety and stability work.

The managers in charge of each department have deployed key tasks for the new semester, including undergraduate education and teaching, student safety and stability, team building, continuing education, disciplinary inspection, and graduate education.

Dean Qu Changzheng conveyed the spirit of university's disciplinary construction work conference, emphasizing the need to focus on the sixth round of disciplinary evaluation, comprehensively improve the level of disciplinary construction, and ultimately achieve connotative development of the school.
