On March 29, a delegation led by Shao Hongyan, Deputy Librarian of the University Library, Mao Haibo, Director of the Resources Department, Yang Chunyan, Director of the Information Department, and Zhang Jinfeng, Deputy Director of the Discipline Department, came to the School of Mathematics and Statistics for research exchange. Qu Changzheng, the Distinguished Dean of the School, and other faculties participated in the research seminar.
At the meeting, Yang Chunyan, Director of the Information Department, introduced the functions, processes, and methods of service modules such as scientific and technological novelty retrieval, paper detection, patent retrieval, academic headlines subscription, and the academic digital library. Then participants had a thorough discussion on specific tasks such as "the use of mathematical subject databases and the related services that need to be provided by the library".
Finally, both sides expressed the need to strengthen communication and exchange in the future, so that library related services can continue to deepen and assist the development of disciplines.
