To gather the strength of alumni and boost the development of the school, the 2023 annual theoretical work forum and alumni fellowship symposium of SMS alumni association was successfully held on February 20. The leading members of the Party and government of the School, the representatives of the alumni council, and the teachers' representatives, gathered together to discuss the development of the School. Huo Yan, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School, hosted the gathering.
Huo Yan introduced the work achievements of the alumni association of the School in the past year, and on behalf of the School, expressed heartfelt thanks to the alumni who are enthusiastic about our teachers and students, and the development of the School. She pointed out that since the establishment of the association, the alumni work has been steadily advancing in the process of building a solid foundation, and the two-way interaction between the college and alumni has increasingly become regular.
Yan Zheng, the president of the alumni association of the School, said that alumni have always been the most enthusiastic and supportive followers in the development of NBU. He suggested that the alumni work in 2023 should focus on three aspects: continuing to do a good job of "connecting and gathering people", focusing on improving the level of "service gathering", and giving full play to the function of "cooperation cohesion", so as to effectively promote the transformation of alumni resources into an important strategic resource and reliance for the development of the School.
Members of the Alumni Association Council have put forward their opinions and suggestions on setting up platforms, innovating alumni brand activities, and tapping alumni resources to help the School key work.
