报告摘要：This talk will show some physical backgrounds and historical review on the two-dimensional Riemann problem of the compressible Euler equations in gas dynamics. We summarize some numerical and theoretical results on pseudo-steady flow. The new results on two dimensional supersonic flow turning around a sharp corner are given.
报告人简介：盛万成教授，长期从事非线性偏微分方程组理论与计算领域的研究。1985年毕业于新疆大学数学系，1995年在中科院数学研究所获理学博士学位。现任上海大学理学院教授，博士生导师，理学院党委书记，中国工业与应用数学学会理事和普及委员会委员，上海市工业与应用数学学会常务理事。曾任中国数学会理事，上海市数学会常务理事。盛万成教授在国际著名的数学期刊上发表论文多篇，其中包括 Mem. Amer. Math. Soc., Arch. Rat. Mech. Anal., SIAM J. Appl. Math., J. Math. Pure Appl., J. Diff. Equ.等期刊。曾获上海市自然科学二等奖，宝钢优秀教师奖，上海市教学成果一等奖。多次受邀在国际会议上作大会邀请报告。
